Dance - Ballet site makes a pointe

1st October 2010 at 01:00

Scottish Ballet has created a new website dedicated to schools. It contains information about ballet and careers in dance, curriculum-based activities, interviews with company members and games.

The new microsite is aimed at teachers and pupils from P1 to Higher level and also contains information about forthcoming performances and workshops aimed at youngsters.

Resources are cross-curricular, with information about health, drama and music as well as background to some of the best-loved ballets in the company's repertoire: The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and Cinderella.
