Dinner ladies win Pounds 1.5m in pay dispute

Almost 400 dinner ladies will share a payout of Pounds 1.5 million after taking their case for equal pay to an industrial tribunal. Each will receive between Pounds 2,000 and Pounds 4,000 after complaining that their pay and conditions were cut by Bedfordshire County Council four years ago.
