Diplomas worry

Nearly 40 per cent of teachers do not feel prepared to deliver the new work-related diplomas, a poll has found. Recruitment agency Select asked teachers if they thought they had the right skills to deal with the reforms. The first diploma courses will begin in 2008 in five areas including ICT, engineering and creative and media industries. Ten more subjects will be offered two years later.
