The new policy regarding the allocation of Postgraduate Certificate in Education places by the new Teacher Training Agency is causing a great deal of confusion.

I am a third year undergraduate at the University of Warwick and before Christmas was accepted to do a PGCE at Warwick in secondary history. However, the course has been cancelled by the TTA, leaving myself and many fellow students in a very difficult position as we had believed that our future for next year was secure and now find out that it is anything but.

Having received no satisfactory explanation from either the university or the TTA, we find ourselves confused, angry, and much disillusioned.
