Diver makes waves with book prize win

Deep-sea diver Gregory Hughes has won the 2010 Booktrust Teenage Prize for his novel Unhooking the Moon. The book is about a girl called Rat and her brother Bob, who travel to New York to find their drug-dealer uncle after their father's death. The judges described the book as poignant, funny and gripping. Mr Hughes receives a #163;2,500 cheque and a trophy.
