Donkey dozen

(Photograph) - 12 schoolchildren from the Chernobyl nuclear disaster site in Belarus have been to the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary in Devon, thanks to an Exeter charity. The children's immune systems are weakened by radiation poisoning and a poor diet - fruit still has to be shipped in to the contaminated area, and a banana costs almost Pounds 4.
