Dream competition

Michael Rosen, the children's laureate, will chair the judging of a national poetry contest for 7- and 8-year-olds and 9- to 11-year-olds. Children are asked to write a poem of no more than 25 lines on the theme of dreams. The Children's Poetry Bookshelf competition is open to individuals and schools. Entries will be accepted from September 13 to October 15.
