Dudley has ict in hand

In one of the most ambitious educational ICT projects yet, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is planning to give palmOne hand-held computers to teachers and students in all schools affiliated to the Dudley Grid for Learning. Thecomputers will include colour screens, wireless technology as well as a digital camera and audio recording facility. The project means that 40,000 computers will be made available in 110 schools across the Midlands.
