Electric chair toy

THE latest American toy craze, a miniature, electric chair, has arrived in Britain.

Death Row Marv, aimed at children aged 13 and over, is a plastic doll. As the current is applied the eyes of the six-inch doll glow red and his body convules. In his death throes, Marv taunts his executioners: "That the best you can do, you pansies?" There are waiting lists in the US for the toy which has been condemned by Amnesty International. It is on sale in Britain, price, pound;19.95.
