The challenge, run by The Prince's Trust, puts children in a real-life business situation, which aims to teach them lessons both about themselves and the world of business.
It takes place throughout the autumn term and culminates in Global Entrepreneurship Week (15th - 21st November, 2010). Million Makers is free to take part in and all funds raised support The Prince's Trust.
Meanwhile, in the business section of the initiative, teams from RBS, Dell, Starbucks and Tesco Bank have already signed up to the challenge to make a profit of more than pound;10,000 from an initial investment of pound;1,500.
Geraldine Gammell, director of The Prince's Trust in Scotland, said: "Historically, Million Makers has provided an excellent initiative for businesses to get involved in, with teams demonstrating outstanding creativity, determination and commitment to the project and I'm sure this year will be no different."
Across the UK, the challenge is for teams to raise pound;1 million to help hard-to-reach young people overcome barriers to success and gain vital skills and training.
