Estelle's lecture

Estelle Morris, the former Education Secretary, will give York's annual education lecture next year. Baroness Morris, who resigned in 2002 after primary schools missed literacy and numeracy targets, now chairs the Children's Workforce Development Council and is pro vice chancellor of Sunderland university. She will discuss the future for schools at York on February 27.
