Etiquette for outdoors
The guides will help schools and youth organisations to raise awareness and understanding of access rights and responsibilities with eight to 14-year-olds.
Fun and colourful teaching aids such as posters, photo cards and interactive video will enable teachers and leaders to set scenarios that make young people think about the three principles of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code: respect the interests of other people; care for the environment and take responsibility for your own actions.
The resources include a range of approaches, from role play to games and creative activities, and were developed by the Educational Resource Partnership (Inverness).
