Euro exchanges

MORE BRITISH students should be encouraged to take part in European exchanges as part of their university studies, a House of Lords report published today says.

Lord Wallace of Saltaire, chair of the Lords' inquiry into the EU's Erasmus-Socrates exchange programme, called for a Government strategy, saying: "We must find ways of increasing British students' ability to speak foreign languages."
