The National Archives in Kew's next exhibition will be "Movers and Shakers: Geoffrey Chaucer to Elton John", December 6-May 31.

Documents, manuscripts and artefacts on display will include: Henry VIII's handwritten comments on his divorce settlement to Catherine of Aragon, and records of Karl Marx's role as shareholder in a London newspaper. Themed children's events will include dressing up as a medieval scribe, a Tudor king or queen and an 18th-century dandy.
