An education programme in which school and college students take part in workshops with architects and designers has been established as part of the year-long festival, Glasgow 1999 UK City of Architecture and Design. Projects include an exhibition, 'Design Machine', to run at the Museum and Art Gallery, Kelvingrove, September 24-January 9, 2000, and, also at Kelvingrove, the development of a floorplan in Marmoleum, following workshops in primary schools. Publications have been distributed to educational establishments.
