Every Day A Milestone is a well-produced video that dispels the fear and the isolation of the UK's 11,000 haemophiliacs

The UK is home to only 11,000 haemophiliacs, who can suffer feelings of overwhelming isolation. Every Day A Milestone is a well-produced video that dispels the fear and the isolation. It shows families dealing with the medical aspects of the condition - bleeding, frequent visits to the dentist - and ordinary events such as sport and holidays. I shows positively how modern treatments can give afflicted children lives much like those of their friends.

The video costs pound;10 and is available from the Haemophilia Society, Chesterfield House, 385 Euston Road, London NW1 3AU. Tel: 020 7380 0600. Fax: 020 7387 8220.E-mail: info@haemophilia.org.uk Website: www.haemophilia.org.uk
