Exam 'too hard'? that's for sure

7th September 2001 at 01:00
SO the maths AS-level was "too hard". That is one of the biggest understatements I've ever heard. All 11 of my GCSEs fell within the A*-C bracket so you can imagine I was a little shocked to receive an E in maths. I suppose this should have been expected as some of the questions couldn't even be answered by teachers. This is surprising as one of my teachers has a first in maths from Cambridge!
