Exams are snow go

Ice and snow kept students away from Alton College on exam day, despite 50 staff turning up with shovels to clear the way

Ten students could not make it into the college in Hampshire on Tuesday, while a further 30 out of 320 were late, but able to start the maths A-level exam. The college will be asking for special consideration for affected students.
