Explore outer space

10th September 2004 at 01:00
After two successful years, Learning and Teaching Scotland is again running its online classroom resource Ticket to Space (October 25 to December 3). This six-week programme for primary pupils enrols them in space school, where they learn about space travel by putting their questions to experts online and via video-conferencing. A virtual tour of the solar system and more is there at the click of a mouse. There is also a teachers' forum, teachers' notes and lesson overviews. Online and off-line activities are available each week and 2004 brings a new space school competition. www.ltscotland.org.ukeventstickettospace.asp
