TACKLING wrongdoing is one thing; ganging up on a college in need of extra support is quite another.

In the view of the former board of governors, when the truth about the bringing down of Wirral Metropolitan College comes out, as eventually it must, the Further Education Funding Council's failure to withstand vested interests in order to fulfil its fundamental duty of care will be exposed.
