20th December 2002 at 00:00

Junior is watching the TV series on the Spartans, and questioning dad about dates. Dad hazards a guess: "Well, son, before the Romans, probably at the time of the Greeks and the Athenians."

"Oh aye, Dad, I've heard of them. That's my name at school - all the guys call me Athenian Bas***d."
