False picture of British Muslims

Thank you for Stephen Jones' very positive article (FE Focus, July 14 ). We are disappointed that your choice of photograph does not reflect the confident and upbeat attitude of our young Muslim students and that it could be interpreted as another example of media stereotyping of Muslims as isolated and disaffected. As indicated in the interview, the students that Stephen Jones talked to were a normal group of exuberant, cheerful and positive young people.
