Family day wins award

The organisers of a global family day in Rhondda and Swansea university have won the first adult learning awards set up by Cyfanfyd, the development education association for Wales, and adult learning organisation NIACE Dysgu Cymru. The awards, presented last week by education and lifelong learning minister Jane Davidson, celebrate learning activities that promote global issues, such as sustainable development.
