Scottish Fencing has moved to tighten up its youth programme for the 2006-07 season. The governing body has appointed youth co-ordinators to monitor progress of fencers in each of the three weapons and to oversee the selection procedure for under-16 and under-18 squads. Mike O'Donnell will be in charge of foil, Caroline Harding will oversee epee and Roy Clarke will in charge of sabre.
