Fertility drive

Readers of Teaching Scotland, the General Teaching Council for Scotland's journal, will be delighted to learn that staff are at last doing something to halt the decline in school rolls.

The first GTC staff member to have a baby since the council was established in 1965 has done so - Adam John McKee weighed in at seven pounds. The new mum is Claire McKee. Appropriately, she works in the exceptional admissions department.
