To help new teachers develop children's awareness about energy use, the National Energy Action charity has produced a workbook entitled Energy Efficiency Lesson Plans for Trainee Teachers: Key Stages 3 and 4. It contains imaginative and topical cross-curricular lesson plans (in-class work and interactive projects) covering such subjects as maths, physics, biology, English, geography, built environment and design and technology.
