Sean Shibe, a pupil at Edinburgh's Broughton music school, rehearses for the first national "showcase of excellence" at the Hub in the capital last weekend. The concert brought together for the first time pupils from the four local authority specialist music schools, the others being at Douglas Academy in Bearsden, Dyce Academy in Aberdeen and Plockton High
