Focus on sport

Pupils in Treorchy, south Wales, are to benefit from additional support for sports and PE activities, following the launch of the Assembly government-funded PE and school sport initiative in the area. The project, run by the Sports Council for Wales, aims to increase teaching resources in primary schools, train secondary pupils as sports leaders, and help with transition to secondary.
