Headteachers are among Britain's best leaders, second only to officers in the Armed Forces, according to a poll by the National College for Leadership of Schools and Children's Services. The poll found 29 per cent of parents believed that heads provide the best examples of leadership, with 31 per cent saying military officers did. Just 10 per cent thought football managers were good examples of leadership.
