Foo Fighter says teaching rocks

A wonderful story to illustrate the difference between the British and American attitudes to teachers. My source (a very cool one) tells me that Ricky Wilson, singer in Leeds band the Kaiser Chiefs, rather apologetically told Dave Grohl, of the Foo Fighters, that before he became a rock front-man he had been a teacher. Grohl, formerly of Nirvana, was staggered, proclaiming that teaching was one of the coolest things you could do.
