Food facts made fun

Top Banana! is an ingenious game that introduces children aged seven and above to the nature and benefits of a healthy, balanced diet. The 80 photo cards (150 x 105mm) each feature a colour picture of an item of food, some of which are familiar (apples and fish fingers) and others less so (kiwi fruits and mussels). Players use them to score points in categories such as Brain Power, Body Booster, Stamina Builder, Body Defender and Energy Burst. A helpful booklet restates these in the more conventional language of proteins, carbohydrates and vitamins. Top Banana! costs pound;19.99, plus VAT from LDA.
