The Scottish Women's Football Association hosted a girls' day at McDiarmid Park, Perth, that attracted schools from all over Scotland. Teams played in small-sided matches before watching the senior women's Scottish Cup final between Glasgow City and Aberdeen.

The SSFA Under-15 Girls' Shield final was played, with Mintlaw Academy beating Grange Academy 10-2, and an under-17 girls' international was also played, with Scotland beating Wales 2-1.
