TES books editor Geraldine Brennan on the inside literary track

Football writer Tom Palmer is hosting a football book quiz at public libraries and sports venues across the north of England throughout the World Cup season (with one away match at The Idea Store in Whitechapel, East London on June 17). Every correct answer earns children and adults a penalty kick at Palmer's mobile goal. Palmer will also be reading from his own new novel for eight to 11-year-olds, Shaking Hands with Michael Rooney.
