Forest focus gives staff ecology kick

North Wales teachers went back to school over the summer holidays to brush up on their woodland skills. A series of training days in forests and country parks allowed teachers to experience the tasks undertaken by pupils. The sessions also covered how to teach topics such as ecology and how to deal with different ages and types of group.
