As part of a campaign to reduce the number of young pedestrians killed or seriously injured in road accidents, the Renault Road Safety project has produced a free pack endorsed by the Local Authority Road Safety Officers' Association for six to 10-year-olds. Ordnance Survey and ANGLIA Multimedia have launched a map data supply service, which gives teachers a free preview of digital maps of their school and its surroundings or any other location. They can then purchase and download the map data for pound;8 per map "tile" (falling to pound;5 as the quantity increases).
