* Film Education has produced free Cinema and History project study guides for ages 14 to 18 on recently released films. So far the series comprises: "Regeneration"; "Titanic"; "Amistad"; and "The Man in the Iron Mask". "Regeneration" focuses on World War I poets Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon, and their time in a Scottish hospital. Its guide suggests starting points for work on such topics as the class system, psychiatry and the horrors of the war.

The "Amistad" guide suggests investigations linked to the history of slavery, the "Titanic" guide singles out class differences in Edwardian society prior to the First World War and "The Man in the Iron Mask" looks at 19th-century French history.
