Free day-time schools screenings of 10 classic films

(Photograph) - Matinee idols: as part of celebrations for the centenary of cinema, Film Education is providing free day-time schools screenings of 10 classic films at cinemas around the country until the end of March (this week in Cardigan, Northampton and Warrington). The "10 Films That Shook the World" were chosen in a poll of teachers last year, and include Citizen Kane, Gone With the Wind, The Searchers, Casablanca, Schindler's List and Psycho.
