The European Commission is giving away 90,000 free maps of Europe to schools in the UK.

The 1m square laminated maps, which would normally cost about pound;13, show EU member states and membership candidate countries and give some basic statistical data. They are multilingual, with all names of countries and cities given in their national languages.
