Free videos

29th December 1995 at 00:00
Schools in the Basingstoke area can send for two free videos designed to encourage an interest in science study at a young age, and to support GCSE science courses. The videos, which explain the characteristics, properties and industrial uses of natural gases like nitrogen, oxygen and argon, were made by second year students at Basingstoke College of Technology as part of their BTEC National Diploma in media studies.

They were produced by Air Products and the Basingstoke Consortium, a group of representatives from Basingstoke secondary schools and colleges, who have collaborated for four years on science and technology education programmes. Information and copies: Jill Spink, 01256 840710.
