Freedom of Information Act

27th May 2005 at 01:00
Seeking information under the Freedom of Information Act, I wrote to the Office for Standards in Education on February 28. I received no reply, not even an acknowledgement.

On March 30 I tried again, with the same result.

What does it say about that organisation's concern for secrecy when it fails to divulge to seekers of information the very fact that it has received their request?
