French games

The realfrench.net website provides online French teaching resources developed at Manchester Metropolitan University. The idea was to provide students with self-access materials in French grammar via the internet. However, the project has expanded beyond its original goal, and now includes messageboards, extensive links pages, a verb conjugator, and France Virtuelle, a collection of internet worksheets aimed at enabling students to visit and learn from French websites. There are many games aimed at encouraging French learning and 70 thematic vocabulary categories.

The site also contains internet worksheets to encourage French learning in authentic contexts. A 12-month subscription costs pound;125 for a big educational institution and pound;20 for individual users.
