Friday Hero

28th January 2000 at 00:00
Janet Williams has been a dinner supervisor at St Gregory's RC primary school, Sandwell, West Midlands, for 25 years.

She has worked for three successive headteachers at St Gregory's and has given "fantastic support to them all", says headteacher Mrs Finula Foley who nominated her for our bouquet. Mrs Williams is also "an extremely efficient" clerk to the governors and a trained volunteer in literac and numeracy. That's as well as doing lots of other voluntary work such as running Christmas parties, school fairs and hearing children read.

Please send the name of your Friday Hero - and why they should get a bouquet - to Sarah Bayliss, TES Friday, Admiral House, 66-68 East Smithfield, London E1W 1BX or e-mail her at Flowers kindly supplied by Marks and Spencer
