Friday Hero

9th February 2001 at 00:00
Mary Musgrave has been a learning support assistant at Mount Wise primary school in Devonport, Plymouth, for more than 10 years. More than a third of pupils at the school are on the special needs register Last September a new Senco was appointed - experienced teacher Anne Elston, who has written to Friday magazine with glowing praise for her LSA. Anne says she is nominating Mary for our flowers, champagne and chocolates because she couldn't have done her new job without her, and it certainly would not have been so muc fun. "She is one of the most enthusiastic people - she will do anything to help children learn and her good humour has inspired me during the past few months". Anne wants to say a "big thankyou" to Mary and to let her know how much she is appreciated.
