10th September 1999 at 01:00 Any post A-level students still wondering exactly what to do next might do worse than look at this site. Its young (well, under 26) authors make a forcible case for the benefits of the gap year. "Choose what you want to do for a change," they implore. "Blow the rest."

Their enthusiasm is as infectious as their spelling is bad. The site is packed with information for those who want to follow this advice - not just travel tips, but a directory of opportunities for paid or voluntary work around the world, as well as work experience opportunities.
