Glory game

22nd June 2001 at 01:00
Bob Cattell's Glory Gardens series (Red Fox pound;3.99 each) is an entertaining mix of adventure and cricket, illustrated with scoresheets and bowling, batting and fielding tips that have won the books an English Schools Cricket Association seal of approval.

The Glory Ashes is one of two new tiles for Year 3 and above that will feed off interest in the real Ashes. When Ohbert (the number 11 bat) posts an "Undisputed champions of the world" challenge on the club website, Glory Gardens finds itself in a series of matches against Woolagong, a youth side from New South Wales.
