(Photograph) - Chancellor Gordon Brown was installed last Friday as Scottish FE's first chancellor, at Adam Smith College in his Kirkcaldy constituency. Mr Brown told the audience: "I should say that, by making me chancellor here, you have given me the comfort of knowing, at least over the next few years, that whatever happens in my day job, I'll still be able to call myself chancellor." He said Britain's ambition should be to become "the world's number one power in education"
