Governors may go to leader college

THE new leadership college for headteachers could also provide training for chairs of governing bodies, according to a draft document on governor training from the Department for Education and Employment. The paper - part f the preparation for a national governor training framework - also suggests individual learning accounts, which are seen as a way for teachers to contribute to their own training, could be offered to governors.
