Great day for science

"Scotland's biggest experiment" is how they billed a science event on Tuesday for more than 1,000 pupils from 41 schools. It was hosted by Duncanrig Secondary in East Kilbride, whose slogan is "Positive About Science", and was led by Tom Pringle (aka "stand-up scientist" Dr Bunhead). The initiative was part of the Scottish Government's campaign to turn 11-16-year-olds on to science.
