Green light for new college

East Renfrewshire councillors have given the go-ahead to commission an outline business case for an pound;8 million further education college in Barrhead. The council already has close links with Reid Kerr, Langside and Cardonald colleges and it is likely one of these would develop the business case as a "preferred college partner".
