There is no need to make a song and dance of it, but West Dunbartonshire has taken every precaution when a music instructor has to be absent from school.

A note to schoos deals with absence through illness, followed by cases of "non-illness". These include: "Instructor requests permission or in case of e.g. death, informs school."
